This page defines the terms and conditions on which we enable you to make a booking ‘Events’ listed and promoted on our website.
You should understand that by booking any of our Events, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
By booking one of our Events, you agree that you have read and accepted the following terms and conditions.
Events are produced by TMG Media Ltd trading as Sojourns, a company registered in England & Wales, referred to as “us”, “we”, “our” and “Sojourns”.
The price of any of our Events are available on our Website. Prices listed are inclusive of VAT (if VAT is applicable) at the prevailing rate unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to change the price on any of our events at any time. Bookings confirmed prior to the change will not be affected.
All events are paid for online using your credit and debit card, or PayPal account. Your booking will not be confirmed until you have successfully paid for your booking. Our secure website takes payment using Stripe, a leading payment provider, or externally using the PayPal option.
Do not send any sensitive information including payment information through our Support Centre.
Deposit Payments
Some of our events offer a deposit booking. Once you have paid your deposit online, your ticket will be held until 12 weeks prior to the day of the Event. We will contact you by email to take payment for the remainder of the balance.
If we are unable to reach you and your balance remains unpaid, your booking will be cancelled and the ticket made available for sale to the public. You will not be refunded for your deposit.
Once you have paid your balance in full, your booking will be confirmed.
From time to time we may promote offers and promotions on any of our Events. These will be time limited and presented on the website or through a discount code. Once the promotion has expired any unused discount codes will no longer be valid.
After purchasing your Event online, you will receive a booking confirmation and tickets attached to this Email. You will be required to keep hold of the tickets until the event. If you lose your ticket, you will not be able to gain entry to the Event.
For Events where you have made a deposit payment, you will receive a deposit ticket, which does not permit entry into the Event. Once your booking is fully paid, you will be issued full tickets for you to take with you to the Event.
If you do not receive your booking confirmation within 24 hours of purchase, you must raise a ticket in our Support Centre.
Approximately 12 weeks prior to the Event, we will contact you to request any dietary requirements and special requests for the event. If we do not hear from you, you will be provided the standard menu for the event which will be unable to be changed on the day of the Event.
We endeavour to confirm all guests’ requirements prior to the event, but it is your ultimate responsibility to ensure you have provided us with your requirements.
It is necessarily to obtain some personal information about you and all guests prior to an Event, for the purpose of taking payment for bookings, through to the seating plan at the Event. Your personal data will never be shared with any 3rd parties except where necessary to fulfil your booking.
We reserve the right to change or alter the entertainment offered, or the venue at any of our Events without prior notice due to availability and circumstances out of our control. We will write to advise you of the change. You will not be permitted to cancel your booking unless the venue is substantially further than the original.
You are liable for any loss or damage which you may cause to the venue or that of the external venue and agree to adhere to any rules and regulations in the venue.
If you have a disability or medical condition that requires special arrangements to be made, or specific dietary requirements, please notify us of your requirements when making your booking. Unfortunately, we may have to cancel your booking where venues are not accessible.
Confirmed bookings are unable to be amended. While we will attempt to amend your booking it may not be possible due to operational reasons.
Sojourns contracts a number of suppliers from catering, entertainment and venues. Each supplier holds their own insurance in performance of their obligations at the Event. Any loss, damage or other liability caused by a supplier is their liability and Sojourns accepts no liability for any loss, damage, negligence arising from a supplier
Deposits
Deposits are non-refundable at any time, except where the event is cancelled by Us.

Where we cancel a booking
If we cancel your booking due to a mistake, you will be entitled to a full refund or re-booking to a future event of the same value.
Where an Event includes a live performance, you are not permitted to take any recordings of the performance.
All of our Events will have images and recordings made for the marketing of future events. By attending one of our events, you agree that you may be featured in some images and recordings of the Event and agree that we can share these images on our website, adverts and social media.
Event guests shall be required to keep their personal belongings with them at all times and we accept no liability for damage to, or loss of, personal belongings. We do not accept any responsibility for any loss (including, without limitation, theft) of any property occasioned on our premises or at external venues save for any damage caused by our negligence in which circumstances our liability shall be limited to the amount of our insurance for such losses.
We will not be responsible to you or any third party for any business loss (including loss of revenue, profits, contracts, anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, data or goodwill) or any other loss or damage which does not result directly from our actions.
Nothing in these online event booking terms and conditions excludes our liability to you for personal injury or death caused by our negligence.
Sojourns shall not be liable for the delay or cancellation of an event, if the delay or cancellation is caused by circumstances or events outside our reasonable control. A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes (without limitation) the following:
Our performance under any Contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.
We will contact you by e-mail for any correspondence relating to your booking. Event details will be posted on our website and are subject to change at any point.
The privacy of your personal information is important to us. Your information will never be shared with any third party except where necessary to fulfil your booking, for example seating plans or payment information.
We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in technology, changes in payment methods, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our system’s capabilities.
